Apple has just announced its brand new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three refreshed versions of existing models and also the brand-new iPhone 17 Air, which takes the place of the iPhone Plus. If waiting in line on release day isn’t really your style, and you still wish to get your hands on one right away, you will be able to place a pre-order for the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone 17 Air from 10pm AEST on September 12th, before the September 19th release date.

Aplpe’s iPhone 17 boasts a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and slimmer bezels. And after a long wait (and a lot of grumbling), the base iPhone finally features a 120Hz refresh rate.

Inside, the new A19 chip is quicker as well as more efficient, especially when paired with Apple Intelligence. If you're upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll notice a huge increase in speed and improved gameplay courtesy of ProMotion.
